Know an owner thinking of sellingIntroduce them to us
Accountants, solicitors, CQC consultants, lenders and the people who work alongside care and clinic owners are often the first to hear that someone is thinking about selling. Introduce an owner to us and, if we sell their business, we pay you 10% of our fees when the sale completes.

£12,349.50to you
Our fees are £3,495 when an owner instructs us plus 4% of the sale price on completion, with a minimum of £5,000, before VAT, as set out on our fees page. The referral fee comes out of our fees, so the owner pays nothing extra because of it. The scheme covers care homes, home care agencies, dental practices, private clinics and aesthetics clinics across the UK.
How a referral works
Five steps from introduction to payment
- 01
Ask the owner first
Check they are happy for us to call. We only contact owners who are expecting to hear from us.
- 02
Send us their details
Use the form on this page or email us. We confirm every introduction by email, so you have a written record.
- 03
A partner speaks to them
The owner gets a free full valuation and honest feedback on their options, with no obligation.
- 04
We keep you posted
With the owner’s agreement, we tell you when they instruct us and when the sale completes.
- 05
You are paid on completion
10% of the fees we receive on that sale, excluding VAT, once the sale completes and our fee is paid.
Introduce an owner
Three short steps, about two minutes
Tell us who you are, who the owner is and anything that would help. Everything you send is handled in confidence.
- We confirm the introduction by email, so you have a record of it
- A partner calls you to agree the best way to approach the owner
- We contact the owner only once they are expecting us
- We tell the owner about the referral fee in writing

Questions about referrals
What introducers ask us
Who can refer an owner?
Anyone. Accountants, solicitors, CQC consultants, lenders and suppliers to the care sector are well placed to, and a friend or former colleague of the owner is just as welcome.
When is the referral fee paid?
Once the sale completes and we have received our fee. Referral fees are paid only on a completed sale.
Does the owner pay more because of the referral?
No. The referral fee comes out of our fees, and we tell the owner about it in writing before they instruct us.
What if the owner is already talking to you?
If they were in touch with us before your introduction, we will say so when we confirm it, so nobody is surprised later.
Can a professional adviser accept a referral fee?
Some professions have rules about referral fees and telling clients about them. You can accept the fee, pass it on to your client or decline it, and we will confirm whichever you choose in writing.
Do you pay for introducing a buyer?
The scheme covers owners selling a business. If you know someone looking to buy, our buyer register is the place for them.
