SERVICES
What we do,in plain terms
Three core services and the supporting work around them, all of it partner-led, all of it in healthcare, and the first conversation always free.
Core services
Selling, buying and getting ready to sell
Most of our work is one of these three, and a partner leads every engagement from the first call to completion.
01
Sell-side advisory
We prepare your healthcare business for sale and run the whole process: the numbers and the story, the buyers, the offers, the negotiation and the checking that follows, through to the day the money arrives.

Buy-side advisory
We find businesses matching your brief from our own data on the whole sector, approach the owners on your behalf and run the deal end to end, from qualification to completion.

Exit preparation
The price a buyer pays is decided long before the market sees your business. We work on what moves the number: how it runs without you, staffing, reporting and the compliance record buyers read first.
Take the exit readiness audit →Exit readiness review
A readiness assessment across five areas and the short list of actions that would add most value in the months before a sale, alongside the free valuation.
Information memorandum
The document that presents your business to buyers: what it earns, why it is well placed, where it can grow, and evidence that holds up when a buyer checks it.
Due diligence coordination
More deals fall apart in checking than anywhere else. We run the document room, coordinate responses and hold the deal together.
Business integration
We stay on with buyers after completion, so the value modelled in the deal actually arrives.
Ongoing advisory
A partner on call between transactions: a sounding board on offers, valuations and timing.
Selling with us
How a sale runs, step by step
Every sale is different in its detail, and the shape is much the same. This is the order we work in, with a partner leading each stage.
- 01
Valuation and preparation
We agree what the business earns once one-off and owner costs are taken out, test a value against recent sales and fix what a buyer would find first.
- 02
The information memorandum
We write the document that presents your business: what it earns, how it runs and where a new owner can take it.
- 03
A confidential approach
We approach the buyers most likely to pay well. Each signs a non-disclosure agreement before learning your name.
- 04
Offers and heads of terms
We compare offers on what reaches your bank account and negotiate the heads of terms with the buyer you choose.
- 05
Due diligence
We run the document room, answer the regulatory questions we know are coming and keep the timetable moving.
- 06
Completion
We work with your solicitor and accountant through the sale agreement and the CQC steps to the day the money arrives.
What it costs
Simple fees, set out up front
Our fee is £3,495 when you instruct us and 4% of the sale price on completion, with a minimum of £5,000, plus VAT. Smaller businesses, such as many aesthetics clinics, are quoted a lower upfront fee, and the full picture is on our fees page.
Your first conversation with a partner and a full valuation of your business are free. If you know an owner thinking of selling, our referral scheme pays you 10% of our fees when their sale completes.
Buying a healthcare business
We search, approach and qualify for you
For buyers we start from a brief: the type of service, size, region and the kind of record you want. We search our data on every registered healthcare business for owners who match, approach them on your behalf and qualify each one before you spend time on it.
The market moves every year. Our Market Index counted 379 changes of owner among care homes and 411 among home care agencies in the year to June 2026. The buyers page explains how a search with us works.
What happens next
If any of this sounds like the help you are after, the next step is a call with one of the partners.
On that call, a partner will
- Walk you through how a sale or purchase runs in your sector
- Answer whatever questions you arrive with
- Give you honest first feedback on your situation
- Explain how a typical engagement works
- Give you an indication of what it costs
Nothing to prepare, nothing to commit to, and no obligation at the end of it.
